"Storybook" is a Jax and Brenda fan fiction that is a mixture of historical romance and Camelot-type fantasy. In this story Jax is a prince of a Kingdom called Fahrlane who finds himself unwillingly having to choose between the four Barrett sisters in order to fulfill a promise his mother made to the man who saved her life. Fancying herself in love with another, and having no desire to be the Prince's choice, Brenda sets about a little plot to ensure that he would never want to choose her. But she does not exactly get the desired results! In "Storybook" there is humor, passion, a plot to overthrow the kingdom, some unexpected surprises, and of course the revelation of a once in a lifetime love that I hope you will never forget.

Lyrics to the song "Storybook" are used throughout this story as little chapter openings. This song was written by Frank Wildhorn and Nan Knighton and is available on the album entitled The Scarlet Pimpernel on Angel Records.

My goal in writing this fan fiction was to take all that we love about Jax and Brenda and take it to a whole new level, something delightful and unforgettable; something that will make you laugh, make you cry, and leave you breathless. I hope I've succeeded, and hope you enjoy this "storybook" romance. :-)
